Erika Hicks grew up in the farmlands of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Once she graduated high school in 2010, she traveled down south to the beaches of Coastal Carolina University, South Carolina, to start her undergrad. Changing her major three times, she finally ended up back to where her heart was, art!
From there, she took some time off to help her family in Durham, North Carolina with illness and taking care of her little cousins. Getting accepted to Colorado State University was a big deal for her to continue her passion for art in 2015.
Since moving to Colorado, she has explored oil paints and graduated in December 2017 with a BA. Erika has always loved the outdoors and since moving to Colorado in January 2016, she has been inspired by the landscape and environmental issues.
