I love building my own canvases because of the tan color and the raw texture this canvas has. When you buy canvases at Michael’s they already have the white gesso on it.
Building your own takes time but I love the aesthetics and having my unique touch from start to finish. My intention was a more minimalist vibe as you see the beginning process pictures on the next slide.
I might have pushed this one to be finished for the art show making more impulsive MIND marks, not intuition marks. This one did not come out how I wanted to but that is how art is. Calling it complete. Let go. No judgment.
