This big canvas was used in my undergrad. Sanding it and painting more gesso makes it a blank canvas to start fresh with. I made this piece for my room above my bed.
The Rainbow color palette matches my color scheme. Layers, drips, and thick paint are my vibe. Some might say it is a bit crazy but abstract art is meant to be unpredictable.
Working big is so fun and scary all at the same time. I love this piece really capturing my passion… Mix media painting!!
